How to order your printed pattern

Whether you’re a home sewist, student, or indie designer, here’s how to get your sewing pattern professionally printed and delivered—fast, clean, and layer-perfect.

✅ Step 1: Choose your pattern file

Select the PDF pattern you want printed. We will print it on A0 sized paper in either full colour or black and white. We accept PDF files only.

✅ Step 2: Check for layers (optional)

If your pattern supports layered printing (where each size is on its own layer) you can tell us what layers you want printed.  There is no charge for this service.

You must tell us the exact names of the layers (sizes) you want printed.  You can do this once you have selected the number of sheets and colour.

✅ Step 3: Decide if you want instructions printed

Most patterns come with a separate instruction PDF, usually formatted for A4.
If you’d like us to print the instructions:

  • Upload the instruction file along with your pattern.
  • Tick the “Print Instructions” box on the product page.
  • Will be printed in A4 format.

✅ Step 4: Upload your files & choose your options

On the product page:

  • Upload your pattern PDF (and instruction file, if applicable).
  • Select quantity of A0 sheets for the pattern.
  • Select black & white or colour printing.
  • If using layers, enter their exact names in the “Layer Notes” field.

Example: “Print 2 layers: Size 10 and 12, Seam Allowance”

✅ Step 5: Add to cart & checkout

Once your files are uploaded, and your options selected, proceed to checkout. We’ll take it from there!

How we print

Your pattern will be printed on a large-format printer (A0 size) using high-quality paper and ink. We carefully fold your pattern and ship it to your address.
